A Jack (and Jill) of All Trades
As a partner at Renue Regenerative Medical Centre in Puerto Vallarta—a facility we built from the ground up—I’ve been at the forefront of pushing the boundaries of medicine with regenerative treatments using ethically sourced stem cells. While this pioneering work has been incredibly rewarding, Scottsdale had an additional plan for me. You can’t live in Scottsdale and not play Pickleball, right? During Covid, Pickleball became my lifeline to sanity. We all have a Covid story, and mine revolves around Pickleball. I accidentally got good at the sport during lockdown, spending hours on the court trying to cure my pandemic boredom. Turns out, if you do something for hours on end, you’ll get pretty good at it! I ended up earning my PPR Pro certification, and ever since, I’ve been hooked on teaching others the joy of the game. I founded “Teach Me To Pickle,” a coaching company specializing in helping beginners and intermediate players master the game, while also fostering community engagement through various clinics, leagues, and Pickleball destination vacations.
The Real Joys of My Life
When I’m not sealing deals or honing my Pickleball skills, I’m busy doting on my two fantastic adult children, Jake and Skyler. During the Covid pandemic, I decided to add another adventure to my life by earning my helicopter pilot’s license—just for fun. Apparently, it was contagious because Jake is now following in my footsteps. He’s currently in aviation school right here in Scottsdale, working his way through his commercial requirements. As for Skyler, a former ASU student, she’s enjoying a well-deserved gap year. She wasn’t too thrilled with all the Pickleball I tried to rope her into, so she’s finding other ways to stay busy—like avoiding my helicopter rides!
