Todd J. Smith grew up in a small farming community in Iowa. After earning a business degree at Iowa State University, he moved to Phoenix, AZ and made his debut in real estate as a mortgage loan officer for Citicorp, where he specialized in doing Jumbo loans for lux homebuyers in North Scottsdale. After gaining 10 years of knowledge & experience, Todd started his own independent mortgage broker business with a small team of hand-picked professionals who all worked hard every day to master their loan product knowledge and become experts at walking the client through the escrow process. In 2010, Todd traded his mortgage broker’s license for a real estate license and became a full-time Realtor. With close to three thousand escrows under his belt, Todd became a certified instructor with ADRE and began teaching for The Arizona School of Real Estate & business in 2014. A short time later, he obtained his real estate broker’s license and became a Managing Broker for a medium-sized brokerage in Scottsdale. He is currently a full-time member of the MHG Broker Department.
